THREE GREAT IMMERSIVE SOLO GAMES
Growing up in the 80s my family frequently tired of me begging them to play Lost Valley of the Dinosaurs, Escape From Atlantis, or Dungeon! So I’d often take to my room, set up those mysterious cardboard and plastic worlds all over my floor, and play them all alone until it went dark. If this reads like a sad story it’s really just a matter of perspective –I love playing games with friends and family, but as a natural introvert I’m really quite happy in my own company too. Playing tabletop games solo feels more engaging to me than, say, reading books, which I also love. The end result is always an interactive narrative experience, and I’m obsessed with stories.
