Those of you who know me are aware of my tiny feet; I have to order shoes from a company who deal with AA fittings. So for Eastbourne, I packed my shoes and a spare off-the-peg pair to try. When I wore these on Friday night to dinner they were totally uncomfortable, my feet slipping because of their width. Ok; no problem. I have my crafted ones that fit don’t I? Oh-heck! In the rush to get everything prepared for the weekend I had two odd shoes. Whoops! That left me dressed to the nines with only my trainers - well they are sparkly ones with diamantes on - and it is fashionable these days to be dressed up with trainers - well that’s my story anyway…. Eastbourne was a blast. We were almost fully booked again, with only two rooms left in the end. Our grateful thanks to DJ Katie Gridley who is well loved by her audience. So many people have remarked on her personality being second to none. She truly works so hard to make the weekend perfect, along with my little bundle of helpers of course who do so much to assist.
My thanks to Jenny and Jeanette Banford from JB Fashions, for their ideas and the wonderful job of decorating the ballroom for Halloween; this couple is amazing. If you haven’t heard already, Shane and I got stuck in the lift making us late for announcing a theme - much to some people’s amusement.
