NEW, THE TUNNEL
Following the success of the first series of the Anglo-French crime thriller The Tunnel, a second instalment of the show begins on Sky Atlantic on Tuesday, while all eight episodes will be available on Sky Box Sets the same day. Unlike the first series, which was an adaptation of the Scandinavian noir The Bridge, the second run of The Tunnel, subtitled Sabotage, is a wholly original story of cross-channel terrorism. Returning to their roles are Game of Thrones actor Stephen Dillane as veteran British detective Karl Roebuck, and Birdsong’s Clémence Poésy as French investigator Elise Wassermann. The pair are joined this time round by Silent Witness star Emilia Fox, Jericho’s Clarke Peters and Shameless’s William Ash.
