Nadiya Hussain’s triumph in last year’s Great British Bake Off was an unforgettable TV moment. millions cheered and wept as the stay-at-home mum-of-three – to musa, nine, Dawud, eight, and maryam, five – took the Bake Off trophy from Paul Hollywood and mary Berry, saying, ‘I’m never gonna put boundaries on myself ever again. I’m never gonna say I can’t do it. I’m never gonna say ‘maybe’. I’m never gonna say, ‘I don’t think I can.’ I can and I will!’

Since then, nadiya, 31, who’s been married to husband abdal for 11 years, has signed a multi-book deal, landed her own travel cookery show – ingeniously titled The Chronicles Of Nadiya – helped Bake Off win a BAFTa and even baked the Queen’s 90th birthday cake...
