Is there anything that can better demonstrate the utter absurdity and idiocy of current car design than this message shown on my car’s operating system? “Drivers must obtain a driving licence before driving on the road. The driver shall keep his/her hands on the steering wheel at all times when driving. The driver should not be distracted by passengers or use electronic devices while driving. Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Never drive too fast. Avoid fatigued driving. Do not place objects in driver foot space.”
