Geely arrived in Britain a few months ago with theEX5 electric crossover – and coming next is its plug-in hybrid sibling, the Starray EM-i. The EV fell short of many class standards in our road test, scoring just two stars. Might the addition of a petrol engine improve matters?
To find out, we’ve come to the testing facility at Geely’s Linhai factory – a circuit designed to put cars through their paces and then some, featuring a mix of corners, obstacles and a decent straight.
