WHY WE’RE RUNNING IT To see if this latest incarnation has maintained that trademark no-frills appeal
I first became acquainted with the latest Swift at a Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders vehicle test day, where Suzuki was stationed and its entire model range available to be driven.
I was besotted. Its poised, neutral-feeling chassis and tactile steering were a delight, as was its incredibly satisfying manual gearbox. So when photographer Jack Harrison rocked up in his Swift long-termer, I leapt at the chance to drive one again.
