Croft brothers victorious in Welsh Junior and Youth.nals

THE Croft twins went marching on in the Welsh Junior and Youth finals at the Sport Wales National Centre on Saturday. The Cardigan duo have now won 15 national titles between them. Ioan Croft was up first, at 60kgs, keeping his southpaw lead in the face of Maelor’s Harry Roberts en route to a unanimous decision, with orthodox brother Garan Croft following suit at 64kgs against Bonymaen novice Callum Green, THE Boxing Scotland Elite championship finals took place on April 13 at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell. Two veterans of Scotland’s Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games team, Stephen Newns and Robbie McKechnie made sure of national titles this year.
