Hidden retreat

The design of this hillside home in Scotland’s Cairngorms National Park effectively camouflages the new build amongst the landscape. Brown & Brown
Architects aimed to celebrate the unique site and disturb the breathtaking vistas as little as possible. The project’s pitched roofline and sod roof, planted with grass tussocks cut from the hillside blankets, are key features that allow the build to blend in sympathetically with its surrounding environment.
