Alaska completes paradise purchase
ALASKA AIRLINES has completed its acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines in a $1bn deal that will see both brands retained. The merger was given the green light by the US government after the parties agreed to specific conditions, including maintaining services between the Hawaiian Islands and the continental US, where competition is limited.
