LAPADA, the Association of Art & Antiques Dealers, has appointed a former head of the Chelsea Flower Show as its new fairs and events director, writes Noelle McElhatton.
Clare Hinde, who was head of special events at the Royal Horticultural Society for 15 years, will take charge of the 10th anniversary edition of the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair in Berkeley Square and other events, replacing Mieka Sywak, who is leaving after more than five years.
The appointment is the first by LAPADA’s new chief executive, Patricia Stevenson, former publishing director of Tatler.
