A small but select auction of just 44 lots of paintings spanning 500 years from Old Masters to 20th century works will go under the hammer at Freeman’s on February 27.
As well as a late 15th century Flemish Madonna and Child by the so-called Master of the Embroidered Foliage, the sale features two works by Sir Alfred Munnings, both consigned from the same local private collection.
