Australian Country  |  29.1
Our travels begin with outback adventures in the Northern Territory and far-western NSW. We take an extraordinary journey from Katherine up the Central Arnhem Road to Nhulunbuy in North East Arnhem Land. Next, we venture to Broken Hill and other amazing parts of the outback including Mungo and Mutawintji National Parks and White Cliffs opal mining town. We also head to Victoria’s north-east to meet Joelene Le Blanc and Nick Malkin, who have created a beautiful home at Wandiligong in the alpine foothills. Next stop is down the Hume Highway at Euroa, where Caroline and Dave Keenan have restored an 1890s home with great panache. We also visit plantsman David Kennedy and Andrew Dunshea at the magnificent garden they have created at Little Hartley just over the NSW Blue Mountains. Of course, there’s also our usual mix of recipes, art, craft, amazing country people and lots of design inspiration.
