Australian Country  |  29.2
Our issue’s travels begin with a couple of fabulous road trips. The first is a loop around the NSW Central West with a focus on the amazing arts offerings the region supports. From the magnificent Orange Regional Gallery and pottery classes in the waiting room of a tiny railway station at Blayney, to top-notch village galleries and great wine and food offerings, we uncover a rich pool of creative talent. Next, we take one of Australia’s iconic drives along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. We also visit an artist in regional NSW, an architect-designed home in north-eastern Victoria, a homestead at Burra in SA’s Mid-North and a sprawling native garden near Goulburn in the NSW Southern Tablelands. As well, there’s our usual mix of recipes, art, craft, amazing country people and lots of design inspiration.
