We quickly celebrate 4472 Centenary from an Australian perspective and touch on its once in a lifetime visit to Australian shores – a truly amazing site to see!
We cap off last month’s coverage and continue our look into Peterborough narrow gauge line and the regions it serviced. But Tony Musolino migrated to Australia in 1955 and his railway career started at Peterborough. What an amazing place to start a career in the railways as his stories show.
We all know when something is up down the railway yard, but in a decent derailment happened in 1969 at Sutherland just before midnight. It was another interesting story in the life of CPH’s, as you will read in Rail Motor Crash, at Sutherland.
