Is Windows 10 Pro excluded from extended updates?
Q When I bought my last PC it was only £10 extra to have Windows 10 Pro installed on it, so I took that option. I want to keep using it, but I’m struggling to sign up for Microsoft’s Extended Support Updates (ESU), despite trying all your suggestions in Issue 721’s problem-fixing feature (page 62). I got a ‘success’ comment in Command Prompt when following your advice to check for disk errors, but now Microsoft still tells me “something went wrong”. Is Windows 10 Pro excluded from the ESUs? If not, what else can you suggest?
