Craft Stamper  |  Craft Stamper - May 2014
Hello! At last spring has come and as I write this the first crocuses and daffodils are starting to poke their pretty heads through the soil. It seems appropriate then that lots of our projects this issue feature blooms and blossoms. We have delicate, realistic-looking die cut daisies (p.36), tactile yarn flowers (p.10), the beautiful bouquets of our cover project (p.46) and a gorgeously grungy oversized metal bloom (p.28).
Another theme this issue is bottles - inspired by R. Maria Sabina’s gorgeous cover stamp design. France Papillon has taken the theme into 3D with her stunning Steampunk-inspired bottle collection on page 76. We are dying to see what our readers do with this theme too, so it will be the focus of our latest Take It, Make It Challenge - more details on the blog. Plus, don’t miss Part 2 of Helen Chilton’s Gelatos Masterclass (p.70) and Jaine Drake’s awesome DIY peg stamps (p.34). Happy stamping!
