The past twelve months have absolutely flown by and it’s time once again for the Christmas issue of DieselCar. In our special festive edition, we’ve got a whole host of fun features, as well as a Christmas crossword so you can escape when you get fed up with your family and friends. There’s a packed feature of little known facts, and so you don’t get caught out by the boys in blue this Christmas, we’ve got a group test of the best selling breathalysers on the market – both reusable and one-shot. If you’ve ever sustained damage to your car as a result of a pothole, we give advice on how to claim against the local authority and give hints and tips on how to avoid them in the first place. Completing the features for this month is a look behind the scenes at last month’s Paris motor show and what goes in to creating a motor show stand.

There’s also news of the facelifted Audi Q3, the first pictures of Volvo’s new V60 Cross Country and a look at Toyota’s updated Prius+. We’ve also been behind the wheel of the latest Skoda Fabia, driven the facelifted Audi A6 and put the four-wheel-drive SEAT Leon X-Perience through its paces, as well as testing Audi’s sensational new TT Coupé on UK roads for the first time. Citroën’s new C4 Cactus takes on the MINI five-door Hatch, as well as meeting its French rivals, the Peugeot 2008 and Renault Captur – which one wins. There’s also road tests of the Maserati Quattroporte Diesel and Skoda’s most frugal Rapid Spaceback, the 99g/km GreenLine edition. In our used car section this month, the Nissan Juke 1.5 dCi is the subject of our in depth used car buyer’s guide. There’s also all your favourite sections, including Doctor Diesel, The Extra Mile, Marketplace, High Mile Club and the most up-to-date data section in the business.

diesel, green cars, electric mag

The UK’s leading magazine for diesel, green cars, electric, hybrids and alternative fuelled vehicles, full of advice on tech, mechanics, future plans. great photos inspiring reviews Reviewed 21 August 2022

I like the way it has evolved over the years

I have been buying it in print and online since the early 2000s and I like that it always has focused on the economy end of motoring, or us cheapskates if you like. It has moved to covering hybrids and electric cars which is good, and hasn't forgotten its roots - diesels.

It's a friendly, down to early mag and Doctor Diesel is still the best bit.
