On the cover of the March 2022 issue of Diesel&EcoCar, we tease one of the hottest new Alfa Romeo’s this decade, with the Tonale SUV revealed in all of its glory inside. We reveal its engines and specifications, and its stylish interior for the first time. There’s also the first photos of Skoda’s Enyaq iV vRS Coupé, a sneak peek at the upcoming Nissan Micra replacement and the lowdown on Toyota’s rough and ready Hilux GR Sport.

This month’s twin test sees two zero emissions newcomers go head-to-head, with the Kia EV6 facing the Volkswagen ID.4. We’ve also driven the latest Mazda CX-5 diesel, tested the Kia Sportage in right-hand drive guise and put the BMW i4 and DS 9 E-Tense through their paces. We’ve also driven Volkswagen’s facelifted Tiguan Allspace, got behind the wheel of the Ford Kuga Hybrid and tested the facelifted Honda CR-V Hybrid. We tell you all about three newcomers to the long-term test fleet, as we take delivery of a Citroën C3 Aircross BlueHDi 110, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and MG 5 EV and wave goodbye to our Cupra Formentor, Dacia Sandero, Kia Niro and SsangYong Korando.

In our tuning and modifying section, we take a look at the Ford Focus ST 2.0 TDCi and how it can be upgraded, while our used car buyer’s guide is all about the Toyota Prius Hybrid, in our newly expanded Buying and Selling section. There are all your favourites too including The Doctor, Bright Spark, Tech Zone, Legal i, Current Affairs and Gadget Inspector. There’s also the most comprehensive and up-to-date data section in the business, with added content and snippets there too, is now better than ever. There are all your favourites from before the facelift, including The Doctor, Bright Spark, Tech Zone, Legal i, Current Affairs and Gadget Inspector. There’s also the most comprehensive and up-to-date date section in the business, with added content, too.

diesel, green cars, electric mag

The UK’s leading magazine for diesel, green cars, electric, hybrids and alternative fuelled vehicles, full of advice on tech, mechanics, future plans. great photos inspiring reviews Reviewed 21 August 2022

I like the way it has evolved over the years

I have been buying it in print and online since the early 2000s and I like that it always has focused on the economy end of motoring, or us cheapskates if you like. It has moved to covering hybrids and electric cars which is good, and hasn't forgotten its roots - diesels.

It's a friendly, down to early mag and Doctor Diesel is still the best bit.

Very Informative

Appears to be a great publication. Wish I could get it in print in the states. Reviewed 24 November 2012
