has been conducting a series of readiness exercises abroad to ensure that its personnel are prepared for any eventuality. Working with an array of Partner Forces this has been a busy but exciting end to the summer period with O Sqn in Sennelager in Germany, refining its green skills and P Sqn has been to the USA and the Netherlands for development packages.
47 Cdo RG RM:
Neptune Tp, 10 Trg Sqn, refined its amphibious skills during Ex Neptune Trident, including training with the RNLI. 11 Sqn supported Lundy Island by delivering a new John Deere tractor, reinforcing bonds with the local community. In Norway, 1 Tp, 539 R Sqn conducted Ex Arctic Tide, part of JEF’s Ex Tarassis, operating from RFA Lyme Bay. Finally, ten ranks embraced AT at NOC(G). Highlights included conquering Alpine peaks and mastering river kayaking.
30 Cdo IX Gp RM:
HQ personnel joined UKCF HQ, Norwegian Joint HQ, Netherlands Navy and Marines and USMC to take part in Ex Venturous Warrior, a Command and Control exercise in Norway. Surveillance and Reconnaissance Sqn and members of Y Sqn conducted pre-deployment training for Winter Deployment 26. T-Wing has delivered two challenging Mountain Training packages and two comprehensive readiness packages. The J10 Cell Combat Camera Team was in the thick of the action capturing every thrilling moment and is looking forward to much of the same in the New Year.
