At the time of going to press, libraries, archives, museums and family history societies were still closed to the public in light of Covid-19 guidance. Many organisations are offering a limited online service, with online talks, seminars and downloadable guides.
The Scottish Local History Forum has taken the decision to cancel its annual conference, which had been due to be held in Perth on 29 October but will holds its AGM via Zoom on 2pm of that day. National Records of Scotland, National Library of Scotland and The Scottish Genealogy Society premises are all currently closed to the public.
