After studying textile design, Mags initially designed childrenswear for well-known brands including Boots and C&A, before changing direction to join Matalan as the design manager for its homeware collections. Mags lives in Southport, Merseyside, with her partner Jim, their daughters Arwen and Megan and their cat Robyn. Her style is style is a little bit boho, a little bit calm Scandi and overall, quite eclectic. There are lots of pale grey walls, grey velvet cushions, books, lanterns and collected objects and art. But she has always
enjoyed mixing old pieces with new and modern designs.
