The July issue of Knitting is all about travel knits and includes 22 portable projects that have been designed to make and wear on holiday. Including one-ball challenges that will slip easily into your beach bag, like the pretty Pitter Patter Pinkies socks by Bronagh Miskelly; the charming Knotted Cable Cuffs by Jo Allport, which are super cute and stylish; and the Chrysler Mug Cosy by Christine Boggis, complete with a lace motif of the iconic building itself. We’ve got plenty of bigger projects to keep you occupied by the pool, like Helen Metcalf’s gorgeous Laddered Diamonds top, the perfect holiday knitting challenge; Pat Menchini’s Departure Lounge t-shirt, knitted from just four balls; and Brian Smith’s Coraleen shawl, made using lovely hand-dyed merino, which will squish into any project bag. As well as pieces that would make the perfect holiday attire, like Jacinta Bowie’s Feather sweater, made with a feather and fan lace pattern– it’s the perfect light layer for cool summer evenings; and Stylecraft’s Sweater complete with lace panel to keep you cool on hot days, plus many more. We’ve got a great interview with John and Juliet Miller, the couple behind the yarn spinning company The Border Mill, and uncover the secret to success from the founder of knitting-kit business Stitch & Story in our exclusive interview. We’ve even got a Shawl Workshop supplement to inspire you with a selection of stunning patterns, including an exclusive pattern by our editor Christine; masterclasses to help you achieve the perfect picot cast-off, and some fantastic fashion and styling tips to help you show off your knits. So with all that plus all our regular features, there are lots of things to keep you busy in the July issue of Knitting, out now!

Lots of useful advice

Particularly good for beginners Reviewed 16 July 2019

Brilliant app

I'm a fan of the paper magazine and this app is just as brilliant.
I didn't have any of the problems described in the other reviews ( I've downloaded 2 numbers so far) this maybe just a different version though.
