POWER UP!
Desktop Linux machines are in the minority, it’s hard to get an exact figure, but most surveys estimate usage to be less than 3%. Linux usage on Steam tends to hover around 1%. And that’s OK as there isn’t really a compelling need for Linux to be at the top of those tables, it’s continued existence isn’t threatened just because people inexplicably still need to run Microsoft Office so that their TPS reports can be filled out correctly. Indeed, many users enjoy being in the minority, some even deign to look down on the desktop masses.
