nome Software is strong in so many areas that we consider it a worthy winner. It’s not ideal, of course, and it has some problems related to usability and interaction with its back-ends. Yet we can see that the Gnome Project dev team has invested a lot of effort into making Gnome Software a production-ready software store. The default store in Ubuntu was once based on Gnome Software for a reason: it took a solid foundation and added even more Ubuntu-specific features on top of it. It’s a well-earned victory.
