MMM magazine July 2011 Back Issue

English 273 Reviews   •  English   •   Leisure Interest (Travel) Only $8.49
There’s something about the sea air as Britain’s best-selling motorhome magazine finds out this month.
In this issue, there are some inspirational travel ideas from the solitude of Scotland’s coast to the hidden beaches of Crete.
If you’re after something equally exciting but more on the tourist trail, then read about our correspondent’s adventures in north Devon and the Côte d’Azur.
Or you might want to base your coastal exploration around a great site – we’ve got 32 to choose from.
And before you go, you can learn the art of taking great seaside snaps to impress your friends and family in an exclusive article but our resident expert photographer, David Chapman.
Within this month’s issue, we have included a guide to buying the perfect barbecue for your motorhomers. How better to enjoy the coastal views than by cooking outside on one of the 11 barbecues we feature?
If you’re after a compact motorhome then we’ve got three very different styles in this issue with road tests of the quirky and tiny rising roof Wheelhome Vikenze to a full test of one of Bentley’s compact Renault Trafic-based coachbuilts.
Also on the compact theme, we look at both two different approaches to front lounge high top campers from Auto-Sleepers and Autocruise and offer up some advice for buying secondhand and profile six great used examples.
On the technical front, if you’ve wondered what all the fuss was about with Euro 5, then read our review of the latest Fiat Ducato. Or read about how one reader rescued and renovated a forlorn American RV. Also, we’ve got a simple bed upgrade for a comfier night’s sleep.

I would like to see more coverage of technical problems affecting older vehicles, especially featuring commercial-based e.g. Peugeot Boxer etc. I have an older Autosleeper Sussex on a this base unit. Reviewed December 7, 2020
