Kilninver Primary School parents and children are trying to raise £840 each term for music lessons for the children.
There is currently no music tuition provision in the schools budget, and a small number of instruments lie unused.
So far the children, with the help of parents, have produced a recipe book of sweet treats, staged a successful panto and are now organising a karaoke night in Kilmelford hall on October Friday 26.They will also be washing cars for those attending the Kilmelford hall craft fair on Sunday November 4 and doing a Burns-themed quiz on January 25.
