Drug dealer hid heroin in body

AN OBAN drug dealer has been found guilty of supplying 10g of diamorphine recovered from his rectum.

Shane Kenny, 27, of 3 Shore Street Flats, Shore Street, Oban, pleaded not guilty to a charge of possessing diamorphine, a controlled class-A drug, with intent to supply, at Lorn and Islands General Hospital.

Oban Sheriff Court heard last Wednesday that PCs Paul Mac- Millan and Danny MacBeth apprehended Kenny at Longsdale Road on May 12.

PC MacMillan said: ‘I observed Shane Kenny walk towards Atlantis Leisure. I thought it was odd to see him there. My suspicions were raised when a green car parked up. I am aware the driver is a heroin user.
