Parchment Craft  |  March 2014
We start the March issue with two fantastic white worked projects; the first of which is over the page and has been submitted by Julie Roces. It’s a card design suitable for any occasion and one which can be adapted by adding an embossed greeting or a peel off sticker. It’s followed by the main project on the front cover which has been crafted by Roselyne Rivierre. Her symmetrical piece of work features embossed scrolls and delicate perforations and once completed can be presented in a frame.
Following on from the white worked designs are a series of projects which utilise the various colouring mediums available. Kannikar Sukseree has created a step by step portrait piece using dry blendable pencils and Gail Sydenham’s submitted the most gorgeous bouquet. I’ve also chosen two pieces of work which are suitable selections for Mother’s Day with offerings by Kay James and Christine Coleman.
This month we’re talking to Alison Yeates, plus there’s the opportunity to re-create her most recent submission on page 14, and we’re re-visiting a feature originally published in June 2004 on the From the Archives page.
