Leon/Galaxies HOUSE OF WATTS
Two albums, two sides of.
Firmly rooted in the DIY ethos of the weird music underground, Lazertüth’s handful of releases to date have all been immersive, gleefully psychedelic and defiantly tough to pin down. Steeped in the wheezing Mellotrons and angular riffs of early Crimson, but with a penchant for freewheeling, acid-fuelled jams, the Massachusetts mavericks are just the otherworldly, brain-melting sonic cosmonauts we need in these times of indigestible reality. In hindsight, 2019’s fuzzy and febrile Serpentor full-length was only a tantalising hors-d’oeuvre in advance of this twin album splurge of wild creativity.
