Our exclusive cover story this month not only features a highly significant Iron Age/Roman vessel hoard but also showcases best practice when detectorists work hand in hand with archaeologists. Finder Jon Matthews, Mark Lodwick and George Whatley PAS Cymru report on this amazing discovery, the subsequent excavation and discusses how the community who buried the objects saw themselves after a violent conquest.
