The Woodworker Magazine  |  May 2014
Well they say that variety is the spice of life, and for once I wish we had an actual spice rack featured in the mag to entertain you and complete my opening paragraph in a semi-amusing way.
No matter, there are plenty of other woodworking projects to enjoy, and news, advice and technical know-how to be gleaned, so worry not and just plunge straight in. This May issue is probably one of the most rounded of late, with something for everyone from pencil manufacture and pot pourri to boxes and bow-fronted cabinets.
There are times when I envy you the reader as you open the mag for the first time; not only have you pages of interesting and informative copy on your bench before you, but the feeling of woody anticipation is one that's hard to equal anywhere on the printed page. Enjoy.
