New pastor comes out of Africa to Wee Toon church

CAMPBELTOWN clergy inducted Spring-bank Evangelical church’s new pastor at a laying on of hands service.

Steve Davies, 51, his Ecuadorian wife Katuska, 47, and their sons Samuel, 14, Benjamin, 12 and Joseph, 11, were welcomed to Campbeltown during the event on Wednesday of last week.

Reverend Gordon Cosgrove from Glasgow congregation Burnside Blairbeth conducted the service. He told the congregation that Mr Davies had spent the past year at Blairbeth having re turned with his family from a One Mission Society posting in Mozambique and before that in Ecuador.
