SCOTLAND’S first rib-tickling film festival dedicated to comedy will be staged at Campbeltown Picture House next May.
As Kintyre cinemagoers await a firm opening date for the restored Picture House (CPH) the curtain has opened to reveal plans for the inaugural Scottish Comedy Film Festival (SCOFF).
The weekend event, in association with Paul Sneddon, aka Vladimir McTavish and including Michael Redmond and Jay Lafferty, will be staged from Friday May 11 to 13 2018. SCOFF will draw on the heritage of comedy in film and will include vintage and contemporary comedy, shorts and animation, workshops and live events.
