Pupils make and star in DVD

EIGHT pupils at Campbeltown Grammar School have turned into movie moguls to encourage other children to take up jobs in the construction industry.

The boys are all S4 pupils and together they created a DVD, which gives a valuable insight into how to enter the construction industry.

The housing association Fyne Homes received support from Communities Scotland, Construction Skills and Careers Scotland to back the project, which will also help Argyll College to train a construction skills tutor. Communities Scotland and the Wider Role Fund have provided £8,500.
