INXS
SHABOOH SHOOBAH/ LIVE AT THE US FESTIVAL, 1983
UMC/PETROL
Despite its terrible title, named after the rhythmic sound in single Spy Of Love, Shabooh Shoobah proved pivotal in the INXS story. The Aussies’ third LP was the first with producer Mark Opitz and first to make waves internationally (us Brits would only truly jump on board with Kick). It ultimately announced Michael Hutchence as one of his generation’s most magnetic frontmen.
