Clay Shooting  |  Summer 2015
We have reached the mid-way point of the year and the competition is rumbling along. Just as we sent the Summer issue to the printers, the Clay Shooting Classic was drawing to a close where Mark Winser won his third consecutive championship. Read more about that on www.clay-shooting.com, but in this issue, we also have details of how Mark won the FITASC Grand Prix.
There is a full report on Amber Hill’s win at the Baku European Games and our team is at the ABT English Open and the DTL weekend at Bywell.
The editor meets Andrew Harvison of Holloway & Naughton to shoot the clay-target Britannia model, but there are also gun tests from Beretta and Yildiz. Some cartridges from Eley Hawk and Armusa go under the microscope and there is a round-up of eyewear plus a list of must-see exhibitors at the CLA.
There are plenty of digital additions, including the rabbit-bashing tuition video from Ed Solomons and a vehicle test on the Great Wall Steed SE.
