There’s arguably never been a better time to buy a 32in smart TV for, say, a bedroom or kitchen, with prices widely tumbling well below £150. This £139 model from Toshiba has a Full HD 1080p LED screen that runs on Amazon’s Fire TV operating system.
This software is probably the best thing about it. Rather than developing its own, Toshiba has licenced Amazon’s interface and, while this means it’s a bit pushy about Prime Video content, you can also get all the other streaming and catch-up services, from Netflix to BBC iPlayer. The remote control is straightforward and the interface is easy to navigate.
