Question of the Fortnight
Has Microsoft already abandoned Windows 12?
Its priority now is forcing millions of Windows 10 users to upgrade
Microsoft spent Christmas gazing into its crystal ball and in early January declared that 2025 will be “the year of the Windows 11 PC refresh”. That probably made sense to about 20 people worldwide, and they all work in Microsoft’s marketing department.
Thankfully it explained more in a blog post (www. snipca.com/53513), claiming “one of the most important pieces of technology people will look to refresh in 2025 isn’t the refrigerator, the television or their mobile phone. It will be their Windows 10 PC, and they will move forward with Windows 11.”
