Because it’s been years since I lived in a shared student house, I don’t generally need to label my personal belongings or food. But the recent discussion in our Readers’ Tips section about the best way to label USB sticks gave me pause for thought.
I often insert the wrong device when I need to copy files to my PC or boot a portable operating system, which wastes valuable working time. It’s not helped by the fact that I have two SanDisk USB sticks that look exactly the same.
