While it may have been a challenge for the Slitheen creatures to make the transition from page to screen, particularly where matching the CGI effects to live-action prosthetics was concerned, there were no such stumbling blocks in bringing the design to life in plastic. A particularly splendid head sculpt captured the Slitheen mid-snarl, earning the toy a place among the highlights of the early range.
