For the standard Series 7 and 8 waves of figures, the range switched to a 3.75” size. This was a move that proved controversial with collectors. The 2013 Series 7 line included a new single carded Dalek figure that was a scaled-down version of the basic bronze design in use since Series 1. In 2014 there was also a dirtied-down version described as an Asylum Dalek, with a red ‘branding mark’ on its dome.
