This first ever on-screen smackdown between the Daleks and the Cybermen, perhaps unsurprisingly, spawned a lot of tie-in toys. Joining the single-carded figure range were the leader of the Cult of Skaro – the black Dalek Sec – and a new version of the Cyberman with the addition of an integrated arm weapon. Issued as a 2007 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive was a ‘damaged’ variant of the Cyberman figure, with severed limbs and newly sculpted injury details. Part-time companion Mickey Smith also entered the range in 2007, in his disguise as a Torchwood guard, complete with his Preacher gun accessory.
