The brand new December issue of FlyPast is not to be missed! Our cover star is one of the best-loved warbirds in the UK, the Rolls-Royce owned Supermarine Spitfire XIX PS853. This mighty Griffon-powered machine has been performing on the UK airshow scene for decades, and we took the opportunity to speak to its chief pilot Phill O’Dell about what it’s like to fly, and how it has come to represent the Rolls-Royce brand. John Dibbs provides spectacular air-to-air photography of this impressive fighter.
