I have to be honest, it’s not Christmas as I write this. In fact, it’s not even November. I’m not going to bore you with the number of processes involved in getting a magazine from concept to the shelves, but suffice to say, it’s a long journey and one that means planning way in advance. That does, of course, have it’s drawbacks but, especially at this time of year, it has way more advantages. It means Christmas has already started at Gluten-Free Heaven HQ while the leaves on the trees are still to go brown, let alone with any snow on them!
That has meant we have had a sneak preview of all the fabulous new glutenfree festive products that are coming to the shelves – far more than we’ve been able to showcase – and a selection of those can be found on page 68. We also have a load of brilliant Christmas recipes throughout this edition for you to get thinking about ahead of the 25th. If you are looking to have a little of the Christmas stress removed this year, check out our feature on gluten-free getaways on page 64, where you can leave all the hard work and prep to the professionals, whether that be dining out, having Christmas delivered, or taking yourself away to some fantastic gluten-free-friendly places where you can put your feet up. Whatever you decide to do, and whatever you decide to cook, have a fabulous Christmas!
