WHICH M1 MAC?
With the arrival of the M1 Pro and M1 Max Macs, there seems to be a confusing number of options to pick through. While I appreciate that each of the processor, core and memory options offer various increases in performance, I am struggling to see how these might affect us in real apps, and how far you need to go for typical apps/usage.
As a stills photographer, I’m looking at one of the new 14in MacBook Pros to replace an ageing 13in version for location duty, but would a base spec machine do me fine, or should I be looking at upgrades? Memory jumps are very expensive, for instance.
