June! Yes! Summer! What is it about those warmer, sunnier days that put us all in such a lovely mood! Anyway... welcome to the June edition! (June! Eek!) Would it come as a surprise if I said that this issue was packed full of inspiring projects?! It’s true! So sit back, get comfy and let me tell you a little more...

Father’s Day will soon be upon us so if you still have a card to make then why not check out Sarah-Jane’s car-themed cards teaming paper piecing with watercolouring or Hochanda presenter (and Making Cards contributor) Katie Silton’s cards for Dads.

Emma’s hidden pocket card is our designs with a difference project, a fun way to send a gift card! Speaking of Emmas... I’m thrilled to welcome designer Emma Godfrey of ‘ Imagine That’ to this edition. Some of you may know Emma as a designer for PaperArtsy, shop in her online store or follow her fab blog. With the summer wedding season in full flow Emma has created some pretty wedding cards using her mixed media style but in delicate designs. Welcome also to previous Handpicked star turned contributor Debs Steele who has chosen watercolour inks as the basis of her colourful cards.

Copic colouring fans should head straight to Faye’s Tiddly Inks cards featuring ‘the boys’ or Katherine’s cards for Paper Nest Dolls featuring ‘ the girls’.

Lovely Clare Brown showcases two ‘first time techniques’, using rice and Color Burst by Ken Oliver to create unique backgrounds and using tissue paper as decorative backgrounds on 3D stars. I did tell you this edition was full of inspiring projects!

Making Cards & Papercraft

I'd like to see a bigger variety of papers. Love what you do, but very similar often. Soft florals, cute critters etc, would be lovely. Überprüft 20 Februar 2020
