Choosing the right goggles is probably the most important decision an open water swimmer has to make. After all, if you can’t see where you are going because your goggles are full of water or you are blinded by the sun then you aren’t going to have a very enjoyable swim. Add to that the confusion of what lenses do what and which are right for you, then buying goggles can become a bit of a minefield – especially when you factor in which goggles are suitable for open water and which for the pool.
