For some people May marks the end of spring, but I like to think of it as the start of summer – let’s face it we’ve waited long enough for it this year. And one of the beauties of May is that it gives us not just one but two bank holiday weekends to get to grips with all those decorating and gardening jobs we’ve been meaning to do over the last few months. In this issue we’ve got some great ideas for adding scented plants to your garden to make it a sensory delight and we’re even giving away free sweet pea plants to every reader too (just pay p&p). And if you are planning on having a barbecue in your garden over the coming weeks, make sure you check out our mouth-watering home-made burger recipes on p.100 – you’ll find recipes for meat-eaters and veggies alike, I particularly like the fillet of fish recipe, it’s really yummy.
