WINE DEBUNKED
WHAT IS NATURAL WINE?
At its core, natural wine is made with as little intervention of chemicals, industrial procedures and human tinkering as possible. It’s a philosophy that mainly speaks of a desire to return to the ‘good old days’ of grapes being grapes, making solid wines. Because of this minimal processing, many natural wines taste quite different to traditional bottles – often hazy, sometimes mildly fizzy and occasionally reminiscent of scrumpy cider – and have grown a cult following as a result.
